The Hamilton-Area Museum Educators (HME) is a group who meets on a regular basis to share knowledge, network, communicate, and foster learning with museum-education colleagues and partners in the Hamilton area.
We're museum education professionals who are interested in learning from each other in both a formal and informal setting. We have members from many cities, including Brantford, Oakville, Hamilton, Niagara, and Mississauga.
The HME year runs from September-June and includes cafe nights, museum crawls, and mini conferences.
We are committed to peer-learning and gather in both formal
and informal settings to share our knowledge and experiences in order to work
commonly towards excellence and current, innovative museum education practices.
